K-Pop’s BTS to Release New Album Proof on Friday

The news that K-pop sensation BTS is set to release their newest album, Proof, is a welcome one. It comes right before the group celebrates its ninth anniversary as a group, which falls on June 13 this year. The group is gearing up for their annual BTS Festa celebration, and last week shared a family portrait on social media to celebrate the occasion. They will also headline the Lollapalooza music festival in the U.S. this July.

As previously reported, BTS’s newest album is an anthology, with tracks from their first three albums and a few unreleased songs. The release date is set to be on June 10 in 2022, which is a little more than a year away! Fans can expect a lot from Proof, with three new songs and a number of titles from previous albums. The album is set to feature 48 songs altogether.

During their recent run of singles, BTS hinted that they were putting off releasing a new album for several months. Although the hiatus was expected to be shorter, Namjoon argued that the group had lost their authenticity and didn’t want to disappoint their ARMY. Namjoon also said that the members had begun learning choreography and were focusing on being their best before making the ARMY happy.

The news of BTS’ upcoming release was revealed by the group on Weverse, with a teaser video showing their journey and their various eras. The teaser video ends with a voiceover by one of the members. The group is also known as BTS, which stands for Bulletproof Boy Scouts. And in the case of the new album, it is not surprising that BTS will be back for more.

On Monday, the members of the group spoke at the White House to protest anti-Asian hate crimes. President Biden invited BTS to speak to the nation. Their speech was followed by a flood of comments on social media. While the members did look tired, they assured their fans that they’d be back to their old ways when they’re more mature.

The group hasn’t been content with their current career and is looking to diversify their genre. Although they’re well-known for their pop songs, Suga has also mentioned that he would like to write songs for video games or even learn to play an instrument. As a result, fans can expect to hear some new songs from Suga and his bandmates on Friday, June 10, 2022.
